CBC London - MEETUP 3
Blockchain+Construction+Beer+Pool. Yes, Pool!!
July 19 · 6:30 PM
The Construction Blockchain Consortium is moving ahead at a lightning speed. The appetite is there from the titans of this industry to engage and explore this amazing technology.
Vijay Patel, from Balfour Beatty, shared this document with me this morning that quite frankly blew my mind: https://www.balfourbeatty.com/media/244600/balfour-beatty-innovation-2050.pdf
But to make this vision a reality we need you the "technology" community to come forward and help us build this future.
And that is the main goal of this meetup - to connect people with ideas/apps directly with the industry.
Hope to see you all there!

CBC London - MEETUP 2
Block by block, together we build success...
Yuck! - Isn't that a candidate for the most cheesy line to describe what we hope to do at CBC? I think so.
Our first meetup was a roaring success. We had 17 people turn up. Well, 15 really, one guy turned up to the wrong meetup, hi Ian :-) and the other was there for "just a drink" or that's what he said.... not often do you see a guy in Clerkenwell wearing a Barbour jacket - I'm convinced he was a surveyor!
Anyway, the conversation and beer was flowing and we all had a good time. I think we should do it again.
Hope to see you all there...

CBC London - MEETUP 1
For our first meeting, we thought an informal chat over a game or two of pool, at what is arguably the coolest pool venue in London would do the trick:
https://www.meetup.com/London-CBC-construction-blockchain-consortium-Meetup/
No long winded presentations, or cold pizzas.
Just good beer, amazing music and (hopefully) great conversations.
